29th Category: Maximum Effort for attendance and participation.

Description: We re-enact the days just prior to D-Day, when the 29th Division was in the controlled marshalling areas known as the "sausages". We participate in a variety of activities, including boat drill, manual of arms, marching, and sand table briefing.

This is also a very important public event for the 29th Division, and attendance is highly encouraged. There will be no firing of blanks. All rifles should have no ammunition of any kind loaded, and should have all blank adapters removed for the appearance of authenticity.

As with the Memorial Day program, we expect a large crowd and numerous vets to attend.
